The lesser-known Glencadam distillery from the Scottish Highlands has surely been featured in the Tasting Club before, but this Reserva di Amarone is a masterpiece on its own. Carefully developed in small batches by Glencadam's Master Distiller, whiskies that have been matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks are selected. These are married together and finished in the finest Italian wine casks that previously aged Amarone wine. This gives it an amazing new depth.
